Donald Trump is, right now becoming the 45th President of the United States. Since November 9th, his impending presidency has sparked further division throughout an already divided nation. From his plan to build a wall between Mexico and the US, to his annoyance with the news media, and his strange addiction to tweeting, America has never witnessed such an over-the-top personality in the White House.
If you’re feeling shaken by all of this, you might also be in dire need of a drink. If so, steady yourself with these five beers.

This black Belgian Saison is aged in strawberry puree and pays homage to the famous Russian-activist punk, rock band. It was a collaboration between Guardian Brewing, Lady Justice Brewing, Brewability Lab and Goldspot. “It will look like a delicate beer but it will knock you on your ass,” Bess Dougherty, one of the brewers involved in creating the beer told Westword.
Sale of the beer will begin on Inauguration day at the breweries and various locations around Denver.

The best thing about this beer is the fact that it was originally meant to pay tribute to Donald Trump. At one time, before the President-Elect decided to make so many inflammatory comments about Mexicans, this brew was called Trump Golden Ale. It was even served at Trump Tower as the house beer at one point.
The owner, Andres Aray, really didn’t enjoy Trump’s comments about building a wall between the US and Mexico and the various other anti-Mexican comments. Hence the name change.

Auckland, New Zealand-based Behemoth Brewing decided to create an American IPA to show its lack of support for the incoming American President. “I’m a big fan of Obama and at first I thought using Bernie Sanders would be amazing, but on the other side of the coin Donald Trump would be the worst thing that has happened in the history of the Western world,” owner Andrew Childs told Stuff.
Spiteful Brewing’s Dumb Donald IPA

If your brewery is called “Spiteful” and you don’t create an anti-Trump beer, you’re not really doing your job. This 9.2% ABV hop-fueled double IPA was brewed with key lime (for some reason) and is pretty self explanatory. The label explains that Spiteful created this beer because, in their opinion, Trump is “dumb.” They go as far as to portray the future President as half man/half ape. “It’s like he got caught in a pause halfway through evolution,” the label says.
Dock Street Brewery’s Friends Don’t Let Friends Vote Drumpf

This IPA from Philadelphia’s Dock Street Brewery is based on Donald Trump’s original last name, at least according to John Oliver. The comedian/host created a viral sensation over the summer when he noted research that “Drumpf” is the future president’s original family name, and Dock Street ran with it, creating a series of beers with names like Short Fingered Stout — described as airy and delusional.
The bad news? The beer was so popular that a call to Dock Street confirmed that they were currently sold out. Will the beer be back? Depends on how things go. We’re going to guess that’s a solid “yes.”
